This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at hansenergysystems.com and in the course of providing residential air conditioning, heating, solar, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical services across Poway and San Diego County, California, how we use and share that information, and the choices and rights you have. Information we collect

Information you provide: name, phone number, email, service address, and details of your project when you contact us, request a free estimate, apply for financing, join a maintenance plan, apply for a job, or leave a review.
Communications: the content of calls, emails, and form messages you send us. Phone calls to or from us may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and scheduling purposes where permitted by law [CONFIRM with client whether recording is in use].
Automatic / technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs collected via cookies and similar technologies when you allow analytics or advertising storage.
Tools actually in use on this site: Google Tag Manager (container GTM-WLW6CGMG), which may load Google Analytics and other measurement tags according to your consent choices; Google reCAPTCHA on our lead and career forms (spam protection); and GoodLeap, our financing partner, when you choose to apply for financing (GoodLeap's application runs on GoodLeap's own site, not as card fields on our pages). We do not operate an on-site chatbot at this time. We do not collect payment card numbers on hansenergysystems.com pages.

We use necessary cookies to make the site work. Analytics and advertising cookies (loaded through Google Tag Manager) are controlled by Google Consent Mode v2. Payment security

We do not collect, store, or process raw payment card numbers on hansenergysystems.com pages. Financing inquiries submitted on this site are lead forms only — a Hans Energy Systems team member follows up, and applying for financing takes you to GoodLeap's own hosted application. There is no on-site credit-card entry or hosted payment iframe on our site. If you pay an invoice through a third-party processor we direct you to, card data is handled on that processor's hosted page under its own PCI DSS responsibilities.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by record type — service and invoice records are typically kept longer than one-off marketing inquiries.
